Abstract
A method of treating a polycrystalline diamond (PCD) body (1) having at least one metal dispersed through its microstructure comprises the step of treating the diamond containing body in order to remove some or all of the at least one metal from the diamond containing body, which treating step includes applying energy (3) to the diamond containing body in order to heat the diamond containing body and/or the at least one metal.
