Description

DESCRIPTION
A DISPATCH DELIVERY METHOD AND A DEVICE RELATED TO THIS The Related Art
The invention relates to the method of forming standard address record and secure delivery in dispatch deliveries and to a device developed for this purpose.
The invention particularly relates to a dispatch delivery method providing standardization of physical addresses, which are not standard, formation of their geographical codes, and making the delivery in a more secure manner by storing the codes of the address in database and during any delivery made to that address, obtaining the photo of that address together with checking whether the delivery is made to that address via the specially developed devices placed in the field for this purpose.
The Prior Art
Nowadays, logistics sector has been developing in accordance with the needs of individuals or institutions and various practices are occurring with increasing competition. Logistics sector is generally known for delivering dispatches desired to be sent by individuals or institutions to receivers in time, without error, and without deficiency. In the sector, it is aimed to collect all kinds of parcels, packages, files etc. materials from the customer and deliver to desired addresses. Courier companies are frequently used for delivering various materials to certain points in accordance to the needs of people. Through courier companies, delivery of desired materials within a certain time to desired points is ensured. In cargo transportation, the cargo goes through various processes from the point where it is accepted to the point of delivery. According to this, a certain document is formed for accepted cargos. Cargos are collected at a main distribution center and forwarded to transfer centers in accordance with the addresses that the relevant cargos would be delivered to. Cargos transferred in this way are delivered in hand by relevant vehicles from the destination office. However, in the prior applications, it can not be checked in dispatch base whether the delivery is made just at the required address or not. Unfortunately, many dispatches can not reach the actual receiver because of the confusion of the address with another similar address. Especially, when it is considered that institutions make a great deal of dispatches in a daily basis, it is obvious that the most important factors in dispatches are quick and safe distribution. Person or institutions make their dispatches through courier companies. Dispatches can not be monitored on map and it can not be checked whether the dispatches have received at the right place at the right time or not, and in case of a loss of the document, it is not clear where it is lost and who is responsible from this loss. Moreover, correctness of dispatch delivery information is unfortunately not certain and accepted to be certain only according to the information given by the distributor.
In parallel with the development of technology, distribution companies have started to use GPS technology. However, in the prior applications, GPS technology is limited to monitor the distributors and the vehicles. Therefore, in the distribution companies using GPS, the distributors are only controlled for their correspondence with their distribution routes.
In the prior art, there are many patent application related to organization of the cargo operations. For example, the application with no WO2004034200 relates to a distribution system including all of the distribution process starting from the sender's door and ending at the receiver's door and sealing function is used in order to provide security in the system. In another application with no US2008173706, an internet based cargo/transportation monitoring system is described. In the light of the drawbacks of the prior art applications of the above said method, when all the technical documents and prior applications are analyzed, they are seen to be far away from a real-time distribution method in which the sender is informed on digital maps about where and when the dispatch is delivered together with the photo view of the delivery address and the information of the receiver.
As a result, the need for forming standard address record in dispatch delivery and a secure delivery method and the inadequacy of the present solutions have necessitated improvement in the related technical field. Purpose of the Invention From the known status of the art, purpose of the invention is to provide a dispatch delivery method providing standardization of physical addresses, which are not standard, formation of their geographical codes, and making the delivery in a more secure manner by storing the codes of the address in database and during any delivery made to that address, obtaining the photo of that address together with checking whether the delivery is made to that address via the specially developed mobile terminals placed in the field for this purpose.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide real-time information on digital maps to the sender about the place where the dispatch is delivered and the photo of the address besides giving the information of when and to whom the dispatch is delivered.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide the sender with the facility to monitor the geographical distribution of the receivers when the sender sends more than one dispatch. Another purpose of the invention is to provide control of the correctness of the distribution results in a way that is independent from the distributor.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide formation and updating of sound geographical coordinate data with low cost.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide implementation of distribution parcelling (separation into micro-regions) in a flexible manner. Parcelling in the distribution sector would not only be adaptable to post codes or administrative boundaries, but also to a parcelling to be formed instantly on digital map.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide facility to take photos of distribution points together with the geographical codes. Therefore, while forming sound GPS data, at the same time photos of the relevant points would be formed and updated with low cost.
In order to achieve the above said purposes, the invention is a dispatch delivery method wherein dispatches related to individuals and/or institutions are collected in a headquarter, classified according to their distribution locations, sent to the distribution centers, and then sent to their delivery addresses via distribution staff and it comprises the operation steps of: standardization of the address information of the dispatches arriving at the said distribution center, determination of the geographical codes of the address, transmission of the dispatches to relevant delivery addresses by the distribution staff, taking photo of the delivery address by the said staff via at least one mobile terminal, transmission of the photo taken by the said mobile terminal to the said distribution center together with the coordinate information gathered, checking by the said distribution center that whether the coordinate information arriving together with the photo is within the distribution frame or not, and if the coordinate information is within the distribution frame, giving permission to delivery and delivering of the dispatch to the receiver.
In order to achieve the above said purposes, the invention is at least one mobile terminal controlled by distribution staff within the distribution system wherein dispatches related to individuals and/or institutions are collected in a headquarter, classified according to their distribution locations, sent to the distribution centers, and then sent to their delivery addresses via the said staff and it comprises at least one camera to take photo of the delivery address, and at least one GPS module taking the coordinate information of its place, and at least one GPRS/3G/4G etc. communication module providing transmission of the geographical code and photo information to the said center, and it provides simultaneous data communication with the said distribution center.
