Abstract

The combined system for conducting clearing and cash transactions and a lottery comprises an information carrier which is arranged on the packaging of a product and comprises a linear bar code for coding the product and a lottery information field containing a two-dimensional bar code and/or graphic code of an issuer and a linear bar code of a lottery ticket, a point-of-sale terminal which is equipped with a scanner for reading the linear bar code, and a lottery terminal which comprises a recording unit made up of a scanner for reading the two-dimensional bar code and/or graphic code, a control unit, a comparison unit and an acceptance unit, wherein the scanner for reading the two-dimensional bar code and/or graphic code is connected to an input of the control unit and an input of the comparison unit, the second input of which is connected to the control unit, the output of the comparison unit is connected to the acceptance unit, the second input of which is connected to the scanner for reading the linear bar code, while the output of the acceptance unit is connected to the control unit, and the control unit is connected to an electronic computation unit of the issuer, which is in the form of a server, to which a gaming lottery unit is connected.
