Abstract

Ein Lichtbandsystem (1) zur Halterung und Stromversorgung von Leuchten-Einheiten (100) weist eine längliche Tragstruktur, insbesondere mindestens eine Tragschiene (2), zur Halterung der Leuchten-Einheiten (100) sowie ich entlang der Tragstruktur erstreckende Stromversorgungsmittel für die Stromversorgung der Leuchten-Einheiten (100) auf. Die Stromversorgungsmittel weisen erste, sich entlang der Tragstruktur erstreckende Leitungen (10, 11), welche einen ersten Stromversorgungskreis (I) bilden, sowie zweite Leitungen (15, 16), welche sich über eine Teillänge des ersten Stromversorgungskreises (I) entlang der Tragstruktur erstrecken und einen zweiten Stromversorgungskreis (II) bilden, der zur elektrischen Kontaktierung durch die Leuchten-Einheiten (100) vorgesehen ist, auf, wobei die Kopplung zwischen dem ersten Stromversorgungskreis (I) und dem zweiten Stromversorgungskreis (II) durch eine Konvertereinheit (20) erfolgt, welche eine in dem ersten Stromversorgungskreis (I) zur Verfügung stehende erste Versorgungsspannung in eine zum Betreiben der Leuchten-Einheiten (100) geeignete zweite Versorgungsspannung umsetzt.
