Abstract

The present invention relates to an insole having a high absorption capacity. The insole is formed by a multilayered structure, at least one of the layers being highly hygroscopic and having the function of absorbing the humidity from the foot. This layer or these layers are incorporated between materials that impart various properties to the insole, namely mechanical resistance, abrasion resistance, shock-absorption, inter alia. The insole according to the present invention is removable and suitable for all types of footwear, including shoes, sports shoes, protective shoes and the like.
