Abstract

A set of twelve pentagonal surfaces (1) and twenty hexagonal surfaces (11) is implemented in strip form and has a closable interruption in the strips. From this set of surfaces, which can be produced in different materials, it is possible to braid by hand a football-shaped body which can be used as advertising article, decorative article, games ball or lampshade. In a further design, twelve surfaces in the form of a five-point star and twenty irregular hexagonal surfaces are provided.

Ways to carry out the invention

Figure 1 shows a single strip pentagonal face 1 of the set of surfaces. The sentence contains twelve such areas. The surfaces are formed starting from a regular pentagon. The pentagonal surface 1 is referred to here as strip-shaped, since it has an inner recess 2, which is preferably also five-cornered. This results in a remaining strip 3 as the surface of the pentagon. This strip is in the embodiment shown of uniform width, which be be ¹ - but preferably not a condition.
