Abstract

The invention relates to a method according to which the key parameters of the service quality of a mobile network are detected and evaluated according to varied aspects of thoroughness. The detected data include not only the GPS position but also in particular technical data about the mobile network, status data about the mobile terminal, events, hit lists of the downloaded and installed apps, the opinion of the mobile telephone customers about the perceived service quality, and the response of the customers to questionnaires from the mobile network operator. Analytical filters analyse the measured values and event data according to the understanding of the particular user group in the organisation of the mobile network operator. The method supports the most varied departments within the organisation of a mobile network operator by means of data on service quality. Said departments include wireless network planning, customer service, sales, marketing, etc. Messages about deficiencies of the mobile telephone service involve the extent of the customer group concerned. The customers of the mobile network operator experience an immediate improvement in service quality due to direct feedback with regard to the criticality of the apps that are installed on the respective terminal. Said improvement encourages customers to make increased carefree use of new apps, since the method considerably reduces the risk through malicious apps.
