Abstract

An underwater vacuuming system is comprising a first moving vehicle having mounted thereon a pollutant collection tank operatively connected to a discharge port of a vacuum pump operated by a power source, and vacuum hoses operatively connected to an intake port of the vacuum pump to permit delivery of pollutant material in the hoses through the vacuum pump and into the collection tank; a second moving vehicle having a manipulating arm; and a vacuuming assembly comprising a housing provided with a collection chamber and discharge tubing to allow pollutant material in the chamber to be discharged through the discharge tubing and to the vacuum hoses attached to the discharge tubing, the discharge tubing having affixed thereto an adapter member operatively attachable to the manipulating arm to position the housing at a desired location.
