CATÉTER PARA APLICACIÓN INTRAURETRAL DE FIBRINA FIBRINE INTRAURETRAL APPLICATION CATHETER
CAMPO TÉCNICO DE LA INVENCIÓN TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This invention is related to a medical device, in particular with a catheter for the administration of fibrin sealants in the urethra. This intraurethral catheter which has three lines, a first line necessary for the evacuation of urine from the bladder to the outside, a second line necessary to insufflate an intravesical balloon to keep the catheter in the urethra, and a third line is subdivided to bring the two components of fibrin sealants to the application area. It also has a traction ring which is responsible for keeping the probe still, as well as preventing the leakage of medication through the urethral meatus. The catheter can be made of latex, silicone or some other material. The catheter surface may include a layer of antimicrobial and / or hydrophilic agents.
ANTECEDENTES With this novel catheter and the application of fibrin sealants, a urinary tract seal can be obtained after a surgical event, preventing urine leakage, sealing the surgical anastomosis, promoting rapid healing and better quality (qualities of the fibrin sealants), as well as the formation of a layer between the catheter and the urethral epithelium, protecting it from direct contact with the catheter. BACKGROUND
OBJETO DE LA INVENCIÓN Urethral catheters are mainly used for draining urine from the bladder, which are held in place by an inflatable intravesical balloon, this prevents the catheter from leaving and is insufflated from a second pathway in the distal part of the catheter ; as referenced in United States patents No. 2320157 (known as Foley catheter), US3394705, 4932938, 6855126 and Chinese patents NO.CN2428138Y and 200945301 Y. In the US. Pat 3394705, CN2428138Y and other similar catheters presents a third way, in which the application of antibiotic, antiseptic and anesthetic medications is possible. However, with the advent of new medications, such as fibrin sealants, which have two components that have to be mixed in the exact place and time, to avoid premature solidification. It is necessary to have a third way in which you can independently apply the two components of the fibrin sealant to its mouth in the anterior urethra. OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The primary object of the invention is to provide an intraurethral catheter capable of carrying fibrin sealants to the area of the anterior urethra, prostate and bladder neck, which are useful after surgery in this area, and They seal the surgical wound and promote rapid healing and better quality.
A second object of the invention is to have a subdivided line to properly carry the two components of the fibrin sealants, so that they only combine at the site of application, since these drugs when mixed are rapidly coagulated, therefore the line could become clogged. of application.
A third objective is to form a fibrin sealant layer between the probe and the urethral epithelium, which protects it from direct contact with the probe, this is obtained after a part of the applied medicine follows the urethra in distal direction
The fourth objective is to immobilize the catheter with a traction device which is placed in the distal part of the catheter. This traction device is responsible for firmly holding the catheter without obstructing the flow of urine and together with the intravesical balloon immobilize the catheter; which is particularly useful after prostate surgeries to promote hemostasis.
Finally, a fifth objective is to prevent leakage of the fibrin sealant, this is by means of the traction ring, with which urinary meatus can be blocked, this is possible since it has a gel pad that can be firmly adjusted to the glans. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF FIGURES.

DESCRIPCIÓN DETALLADA DE LA INVENCIÓN DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Stressing, the catheter for the administration of two components of fibrin sealant in the urethra is of the type that is formed: by a tubular main body (1), at its proximal end it has an intravesical balloon (5), which at insufflate the bladder neck tightly, avoiding on the one hand the exit itself and on the other part by hermetically dividing the bladder from the urethra; said body (1) has a main pathway (2) open at its ends for the evacuation of urine, a second pathway (6) for inflation of the intravesical balloon, and a third pathway (9) that flows into a hole (10) exit arranged before the intravesical balloon, where said third way at its distal end it presents a bifurcation (11, 12), which extends to the exit hole, where the two components of the fibrin sealant are mixed; the fork of the third way ends in a common hole. As an alternative, the fork of the third track ends in independent holes (13,14). Fibrin sealants work by mixing two components, for which the catheter has an independent line for each, on the one side fibrinogen and fibronectin and on the other side calcium and thrombin this forms a clot, which is formed in a 30 seconds span, once the components are combined. In the latter lies the importance of the third double line, since the aforementioned drugs have to be mixed at the application site, otherwise it would solidify ahead of time.
Additionally, a traction ring (15) has been arranged in the main body so that in combination with the intravesical balloon they immobilize the catheter in the urethra and prevent the leakage of medication into the bladder or out of the patient. The pull ring is made up of two threaded parts, a male (16) and a female (17), with two deformable gaskets (18) and a rigid one (19) between them arranged inside the female so that when screw the male-female elements, deformable gaskets are compressed by fastening the ring to the main body; The traction ring carries at its proximal end a pad (20) to avoid direct contact of the ring with the skin of the penis.
