Abstract

The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition in the form of an oil-in-water nanoemulsion comprising from 0.001% to 10% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition, of one or more direct dyes, one or more surfactants, one or more fatty substances and water; the number-average size of the oil droplets in the said nanoemulsion being less than or equal to 100 nm. The present invention also relates to the use of the composition according to the invention for the direct dyeing of keratin fibres, in particular the hair.
