Abstract

The present invention relates to a thermal battery (1) including a chamber (100) comprising at least one fluid inlet (3a) and at least one fluid outlet (3b) and comprising therein a phase-change material encapsulated in the form of tubes (5), said tubes (5) being placed parallel to one another, said thermal battery (1) including at least one separator (7) separating at least some of the tubes (5), said at least one separator (7) dividing the interior of the thermal battery (1) into at least two zones (9a, 9b) through which the fluid flows, a first flow zone (9a) including the fluid inlet (3a) and a second flow zone (9b) including the fluid outlet (3b), said thermal battery (1) furthermore including a passage (11) for the fluid between two successive flow zones (9a, 9b) level with each separator (7).
