Abstract

The invention relates to a suspended ceiling T bearer profile (1) with integrated LED illumination comprising at least one body (10) consisting of at least two separate slots (100, 101) as at least one upper slot (100) comprising at least one driver unit (100000); and a lower slot (101) comprising at least one PCB (1012) with at least one LED (1013) arranged thereon and at least one cable; at least one illumination surface (1010) found below said lower slot (101); at least one power connection cable (10000) coming out of the upper part of said upper slot (100) and providing direct connection to alternating current mains voltage.

Description

DESCRIPTION
LED-ILLUMINATED SUSPENDED CEILING T BEARER PROFILE The Related Art
The invention relates to a compact suspended ceiling T bearer profile for providing illumination, comprising an integrated LED mechanism that can be directly fed by alternating current mains voltage, having all its electronic equipment within the profile body, and a main body formed of more than one slots.
The Prior Art
In spaces where suspended ceiling systems are used, illumination is commonly made by using the wide surfaces of the suspended ceiling panels. Lighting fixtures can be produced as suspended ceiling panels or lighting fixtures already on market can be mounted onto standard suspended ceiling panels.
It is not a common method to apply illumination on exposed surfaces of T bearers. Most applications providing illumination from T bearers are for decorative purposes and cannot reach adequate illumination levels. Yet, since these kinds of illuminations are added on completed systems later on, they do not have any inventive value and cannot be evaluated as products.
LED lighting fixtures require alternating current mains voltage and units called drivers (power source), which regulate the current. Driver units can be positioned within or outside the fixture. While applying lighting fixtures on suspended ceiling systems, positioning driver units outside of the lighting fixtures makes mounting operation longer and more complicated, and increases the risk of failure for the fixture.
It is also another method applied for driver units positioned outside to feed more than one fixtures. Besides making the mounting operation more difficult, this method also causes more than one fixture to be out of service in case of a failure, demounting, or maintenance situation of any single fixture.
During the literature research, similar applications were encountered: One of these applications is the US patent document No. US 20130039055A1 . In this document; a LED lighting fixture which can be connected to suspended ceiling systems and act as bearer for suspended ceiling panels is disclosed. In said fixture, a single slot is found for PCB and LED. Since a second slot is not found on the body, the driver unit is positioned outside, independent from the fixture. The driver unit, being positioned outside and/or a driver unit commonly feeding more than one fixture, causes the above said mounting operation to become longer and more complicated and increases the risk of failure of the fixture. In said product, the height of the PCB and LED slot is higher than the standard lay-in suspended ceiling panel height. Therefore, when the product is used with lay-in suspended ceiling panels; the end of the lower surface is at a lower level than the panels and cannot maintain visual integrity. As a result, the above said drawbacks and the inadequacy of the prior art solutions about the subject have necessitated an improvement in the technical field related to suspended ceiling bearer profiles.
Purpose of the Invention
The invention relates to a LED-illuminated suspended ceiling T bearer profile, which meets the above said requirements, eliminates all of the drawbacks, and brings some additional advantages.
The primary purpose of the invention is to provide a compact suspended ceiling T bearer profile providing general illumination and having all its electronic equipment within the profile body by means of mounting a power source within a second slot on the bearer profile.
A purpose of the invention is to provide ease of mounting and reduce the risk of failure for the fixture by means of positioning the driver unit within the fixture body.
Another purpose of the invention is to ensure that the profile design forms visual integrity with other suspended ceiling systems after installation. In order to achieve the above said purposes, a suspended ceiling T bearer profile with integrated LED illumination is provided, which comprises:
- at least one body consisting of at least two separate slots as at least one upper slot comprising at least one driver unit; and a lower slot comprising at least one PCB with at least one LED arranged thereon and at least one cable,
- at least one illumination surface found below said lower slot,
- at least one power connection cable coming out of the upper part of said upper slot and providing direct connection to alternating current mains voltage.
The structural and characteristic features of the invention and all of its advantages shall be understood better with the figures and the detailed description given below in reference to the figures, and therefore, the assessment should be made by taking into account the said figures and detailed explanations.

Detailed Description of the Invention
In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the LED-illuminated suspended ceiling T bearer profile (1 ) according to the invention are only disclosed for better understanding of the subject without forming any limiting effect.
- The invention is a compact suspended ceiling T bearer profile (1 ) for providing illumination, comprising an integrated LED mechanism that can be directly fed by alternating current mains voltage, integrated electronic equipment, and a main body formed of more than one slots.
In its basic form, the suspended ceiling T bearer profile (1 ) according to the invention comprises:
- at least one body (10) consisting of at least two separate slots (100, 101 ) as at least one upper slot (100) comprising at least one driver unit (100000); and a lower slot (101 ) comprising at least one PCB (1012) with at least one LED (1013) arranged thereon and at least one cable, - at least one illumination surface (1010) below said lower slot (101 ) and comprising at least one diffuser (10100),
- at least one cable gland (1000) fixed to the upper part of said upper slot (100); and at least one power connection cable (10000) fixed to said cable gland (1000) and providing direct connection to alternating current mains voltage.
- at least one T bearer system connection clip (1 1 ) fixed at the two ends of the body (10) and providing connection with the suspended ceiling T bearer (14); and at least one clip rivet (1 10) fixing said T bearer system connection clip (1 1 ) to the body (10),
- at least one suspended ceiling panel bearing surface (101 1 ) forming the upper part of said lower slot (101 ) and having a structure, which, when integrated to the suspended ceiling T bearer system, can carry the suspended ceiling panel (15 or 16) found thereon,
- at least one low voltage cable channel cover (102) fixed to the body (10) between said upper slot (100) and lower slot (101 ), and at least one rivet (1 10) fixing the cable channel cover (102) to the body (10),
- at least one cover (12) covering the open ends of said slots (100, 101 ) and at least one cover screw (120) fixing the cover (12) to the body. The body (10) is made of aluminium and it contains a driver unit (100000) and a PCB (1012) and the LEDs (1013) arranged thereon. The body (10) has a thin and long structure manufactured by extrusion technique. The upper slot (100) and the lower slot (101 ) are found at the upper and lower parts of the body (10), respectively. The cable gland (1000) found at the upper part of the upper slot (100) is screwed and fitted into a grooved hole found on the body (10). Alternating current mains voltage power connection cable (AC) (10000) passes through the cable gland (1000) and reaches the driver unit (100000) found within the upper slot (100). When the required mains voltage is applied on the power cable (10000), the fixture provides illumination from the surface of the diffuser (10100).
The covers (12) found at the two ends of the body (10) are fixed at the relevant holes found on the body via body end cover screws (120). The T bearer system connection clips (1 1 ) found at the two ends of the body (10) are fixed on the aluminium body (10) via rivet (1 10). The end portions of the T bearer system connection clips (1 1 ) are positioned such that they would protrude outside the aluminium body (10). The T bearer system connection clips (1 1 ) are coupled to the relevant connection points of the suspended ceiling T bearer (14) and ensure integration of the profile into the system. The T bearer system connection clips (1 1 ) ensure integration of the profile to the T bearer systems of different manufacturers. The integrated T bearer profile (1 ) acts as bearer for the suspended ceiling panels (15) (16) placed thereon, by means of the suspended ceiling bearing surfaces (101 1 ).
The body (10) is fixed to one or a couple of safe point(s) using a metal wire or hook through the safety hanger mounting holes (13) found at the upper part thereof.

Claims

1. A suspended ceiling T bearer profile (1 ) with integrated LED illumination, characterized in that; it comprises:
- at least one body (10) consisting of at least two separate slots (100, 101 ) as at least one upper slot (100) comprising at least one driver unit (100000); and a lower slot (101 ) comprising at least one PCB (1012) with at least one LED (1013) arranged thereon and at least one cable,
- at least one illumination surface (1010) found below said lower slot (101 ),
- at least one power connection cable (10000) coming out of the upper part of said upper slot (100) and providing direct connection to alternating current mains voltage.
2. The suspended ceiling T bearer profile (1 ) according to Claim 1 , characterized in that; it comprises: at least one T bearer system connection clip (1 1 ) fixed at the two ends of the body (10) and providing connection with the suspended ceiling T bearer (14).

The suspended ceiling T bearer profile (1 ) according to Claim 1 , characterized in that; it comprises: at least one suspended ceiling panel bearing surface (101 1 ) forming the upper part of said lower slot (101 ) and extending all along both sides of the body (10), and having a structure, which, when integrated to the suspended ceiling T bearer system, can carry the suspended ceiling panel (15 or 16) found thereon.
4. The suspended ceiling T bearer profile (1 ) according to Claim 1 , characterized in that; it comprises: at least one diffuser (10100) stands for said illumination surface (1010).
5. The suspended ceiling T bearer profile (1 ) according to Claim 1 , characterized in that; it comprises: at least one cover (12) covering the open ends of said slots (100, 101 ) and at least one cover screw (120) fixing said cover (12) to the body.
