The system makes continuous corrections of bone deformities possible on a millimetric scale, dispenses with steps of the conventional procedure and increases the safety and accuracy of the surgical procedure. Besides being less invasive than the conventional method, it allows other procedures to be performed during the same surgical intervention, such as ligament reconstruction and treatment of cartilage and meniscus injuries in the case of the knee joint.
