[57] ABSTRACT
This invention relates to a process for producing finely divided dispersions of solids having an average particle size of 0.01 to 20 fim by the comminution of coarse particulate dispersions in a hole- or slit-type nozzle 4 having a specific bore length to diameter ratio at a pressure difference greater than 5 bar between the nozzle inlet and the nozzle outlet. The invention also relates to an apparatus for producing the finely divided dispersion.
