(57) ABSTRACT
A method for enhancing the user's experience by synchronizing a multimedia leature with the movement ol an indicating device. In one embodiment, a method is provided for previewing media products including the steps ol providing a preview device for previewing predetermined preview clips ol pre-recorded media products, interactively indicating which media product is to be previewed, and instantly playing the preview clips ol an indicated prerecorded media product in real time without noticeable delay. The plurality ol pre-recorded media products may be music, video, movie, electronic game program, or a software program. An interactive graphical user interlace is also provided lor allowing a user to remotely preview media products through a communications link where the GUI includes a plurality ol trigger fields identilying a plurality ol pre-recorded media products, each ol the plurality ol trigger fields being associated with a preview clip. Upon moving a cursor into one ol said plurality ol trigger fields, a preview clip associated therewith is instantly played in real time without noticeable delay.
