(57) ABSTRACT
An antimicrobial polymeric composite for use in wound management products. The composite comprises a polymeric material which is suitable for prolonged direct contact with a wound. At least a part of the polymeric material is associated with a glass which comprises an antimicrobial element M, preferably silver.
