We had a excellent time on our 6 hr trip on Deep Water. Sam keeps great contact and works hard to accommodate any specific requests. She has a great crew that worked very hard to out run the dolphins who wanted a bit of the action too. We saw many and such beautiful creatures. Our split charter were with 2 young men that were tons of fun. All and all everyone had a fun day. We caught about 50 plus pounds of fish. They were very good eating I must say. Sam it was a pleasure finally meeting you because I know I was a bit of a pain. We hope to someday come back when red snapper is in season. Be safe and anyone who wants someone who will get back to you every time, Sam is your person. Thanks again, PJ & Janet

Capt. Mark and first mate Richard worked very hard to make sure we all caught fish. Boat limited out on red snapper. 12 hour trip. I’ll fish with them again.

We (3 dads) had a short time window to take our high school senior sons out for some fishing on the bay on Easter Sunday. Sam was very helpful in setting up a trip for us that accommodated our schedule and Sam's frequent communications leading up to the trip were very helpful as well. Captain, Sam and Logan made our 3-hour trolling trip a great time for the boys and dads alike. Highly recommended!

Although I didn't get to go fishing on the Short Fuse (bad weather), Sam was very informative and kept in touch providing updates as soon as she had them. She also provided a PDF of where to meet, what we were fishing for, what to and not what to bring, etc.
I'm certain that we would have caught a lot of fish once we were able to.
Plan on coming back in the Spring and will definitely book a fishing trip with them.
Definitely recommend a trip with them.

Matt and Daryl took us out for an afternoon trolling trip. It was an awesome experience, we paid a little extra and stayed out till sunset. We fished for 4 hours and caught 23 keepers. Give them a shout for a good fishing trip. (Reminder, it’s call d fishing, not catching, we had a great day, not everyone catches that many)

My family chartered the boat for a SHARK fishing excursion. What a JOKE!!! The most UN professional Captain and Mate to say the least. I have fished many charter boats before and NEVER experienced one like this . Once we got out to a spot the Captain dropped anchor and played games on his cell phone the entire 4 hours. He never moved or drifted the boat. There were 5 in our group fishing, one shark fishing rod and nothing over 1 pound was caught ( 4 small sharks ) . We asked if we could move, the captain said "no" and continued playing his games. Thats the REEL DEAL!!!!!

UPDATE: I did not know that my response had been rejected as it included a link to our facebook page. I responded to this before this season and we have 2 boats now and a hired captain who is very well liked by our customers. Come on down and give me a call. mhr253 Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm very sorry that you had an unpleasant experience. Honestly, I didn't even see this review until recently because I didn't even know we had a listing on Trip Advisor. If I had, I would have addressed it much sooner, because that is NOT how Reel Deal is supposed to operate! I will say that Shark fishing can be the most exciting OR the most boring type of fishing. Typically, we will pick a spot that we feel may bring some action, put out the anchor, chum up the water with some bloody stuff, put out a couple lines, and wait. Normally we do not move after we anchor, however, we have been known to. We've even been known to change the type of fishing altogether to satisfy our customers! Our captain should not have been playing on his phone. He and/or the deckhand should have been checking the lines frequently and chumming the water around as well as associating with your crew. Of course, we cannot guarantee that you will reel in or even hook a big shark, but I can guarantee that we will do whatever we can to provide a pleasurable experience aboard our boat! With all this being said, we are now owner - operated and no longer have a hired captain. If you are going to be in the area, please contact me directly and I will do what I can to make this right. Also, you can see our reviews on Fishingbooker and our Facebook page.

My girlfriend and I went deep sea fishing with Mark and Logan yesterday and it was a great trip. I'm not much of a fisherman, but found out through Logan (who is very knowledgeable) that most of the larger fish (grouper, red snapper, etc.) moved off shore this late in the year. While I was was hoping to catch larger fish (I'll make sure I go back in June next time) we caught a ton of fish. We ended up catching our limit of Beeliners (10 per person), a few white snapper, and a few larger Trigger fish. All of the fish gave us a pretty good fight and it was enjoyable. We easily caught 100 fish or more, and ended up with 24 lbs of fish ourselves. Mark and Logan were hilarious and made the trip enjoyable. Logan was very knowledgeable and helpful the entire trip. If you're looking for a great trip, go with Reel Deal Charters.

Captain Mark and Logan are a bit salty but they will steer you right to the fish and give you lots of techniques that will work if you listen and do as they say! We caught our limit of vermillion snapper we also caught white snapper but the triggers were too small. On the way back we trolled and caught a 15 lb King mackerel which was so exciting tons of fun and incredibly delicious! Captains wife Samantha who booked our trip was wonderful and couldn't have been nicer! We want to come again for redfish season and if we do we will try to book with Reel Deal!
