What a perfect spot to embrace your vacation in Gran Canaria island! Definitely not just for children. My friend and I had a blast here as well! Lots of great rides and enough pools to hang out and enjoy your trip! Also, many options to just hang out around and enjoy the nice weather or grab a bite. A ton of ice cream options, great snacks and they also have a self-serve soda station (PourMySoda) so you don't have to waste time in line for food in case it is busy (over lunchtime it surely is!). Overall a great waterpark and I loved that they also had seals which were super cute and entertaining to watch! I would definitely highly recommend visiting!

Short story: this is a water park. That means it is super fun. It also means that it is kind of gross.
Longer story...
This is a great water park, in terms of attractions, for people of all ages. There is a lazy river, two different sections for little kids, and some massive, awesome slides for older kids.
Here are some things that bother me...
- Smoking. I know. This is technically Europe. I should expect smoking everywhere. Well, this is indeed the case. This children's paradise is constantly tainted with the scent of cigarettes. I even walked by a cigarette butt put out on the top of a cheeseburger.
- Lifeguards. It is great that they exist. I am not sure what they actually do, though. My son got stuck on one of the slides, and they ordered other kids to start going down... Good thing the other kids got stuck too!
- Cleanliness. I know that water parks are, by definition, kind of gross... That being said, there were a lot of leaves in the pool. I saw a few band aids. Some of the water features were a bit rusty. It would be great to see this place spruced up a bit.
Chairs / Towels. Want a chair? You pay for that chair I thought our expensive admission might include a place to sit. Nope. Need a towel? The gift shop will sell you one. Otherwise, bring your own.
Honestly, we had a great time. We would come back. Limiting smoking to a specific section, hiring lucid lifeguards, and cleaning up the place would go a long way in improving the other wise great park!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Shawn W.Beverly Hills, CA314386Apr 11, 2016
I liked Aqualand in the mid-to-late 2000s but they have MASSIVELY improved recently with the addition of several new rides and the deletion of another. The park has so many rides that you'll grudge stopping to catch your breath for just five minutes. In the end the fatigue does get to you though. They allow you to take waterproof cameras on all rides apart from two, so you can get amazing pics from them. The Aquashop always has fun stuff worth buying, so make sure to stop in on your lunchbreak. Speaking of lunch the cafe has a nice variety of junk food for a decent price.
The park is not expensive either and often has deals and offers with Palmitos Park or a "return for half price" promotion, so keep an eye out for that. Most certainly one of the most fun places to go in Gran Can.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
