There are certain experiences we savor to share with special friends. Friendships that you can share one another's thoughts and share their deepest emotions. Friends who complete one another's sentences.
With the technology of VR friends can now experience being in each other's body.
Sharing a body buddy to compete in a deadly Squid Game competition. Or joining forces for a thriller stroll within Deadwood Valley. Combining to be a Seeker of the Dragon Fire Shard. Or possibly seeking to break the Curse of Davey Jones. Or perhaps, emerging together simply for the enjoyment of the immersive futuristic Amber Sky.

BEST VR experience ever! We've tried every VR including Sandbox and Virtualis blows Sandbox out of the water by far! The best part is that it never seems like we are staying in one room. The game leads us up elevators onto rooftops down to subway cars and it really feels like you're moving from place to place! They also add in cold and hot air to make it feel so real.

Our host was Gio who very graciously accommodated us last minute. He was a pretty funny host who obviously knew what he was doing. It was very apparent that he's guided guests time and time again.

This VR experience is worth every penny! We go to Vegas fairly often but more so for the food and less for the clubs nowadays. We're going to try to go to this place every time we're in Vegas!

Had a groupon for this which made it very reasonably prices, at least $20 cheaper than what we paid for Sandbox VR in the past. This was the first time I've done VR that had more movement than within a small box. It felt so realistic inside with wind, walls, puzzles, elevators you can feel, and more. We did the Temple of the Diamond Skull experience which is exploration, but I would be curious to come back and try some of their other rooms.

I was super nervous to try this but the staff made sure to answer all questions, explain in detail and made us feel super comfortable! This experience was different & I truly enjoyed since I am a walking dead fan. There are different levels and locations to the game. I look forward to bringing a larger group to try out more levels!

Virtualis VR is a must do! As Mark Zuckerberg once said, "The incredible thing about the technology is that you feel like you're actually present in another place with other people. People who try it say it's different from anything they've ever experienced in their lives." Being immersed in a virtual reality game is truly amazing! It's like a fascinating matrix where you're placed into an entirely new dimension.

You'll find the VR center inside AREA15, they're on the second floor next to Brainstorm. The staff members are courteous and very welcoming. Noel was the nice young lady who kindly assisted me. I signed up for The Lost City which is an intense game and much more advanced. If you want a game that's good for beginners, you can start with Patient Zero.

Pricing is $55 per person and they do offer 10% local discount on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Signed waiver is done via electronic, and I'm grateful that the manager Gavin took time to send me a copy via mobile text. There are certain games that do require at least 2 people, and other games up to 4 people. I was assigned to join a group for the 7:30pm slot. There's a spacious lobby lounge where you can wait while listening to awesome music.

Once our group was formed, we were instructed to leave cell phones inside the keycode lockers. Jacob does a remarkable job giving out helpful instructions on what to expect and how to operate the the rifle. I also appreciate how Alina was attentive to detail, she helped me adjust my bag gear and tracker.

The game itself takes about 20 minutes. There's a lot of zombies to shoot and they walk really fast! It is a very intense game where I had to keep reloading my rifle just to keep shooting. The staff members made the experience easy, fun, and enjoyable. Despite me dying five times, the virtual game is still amazing and well worth the experience!

Visited area 15 and saw this virtualis be place located on the 2nd floor. We decide to check it out since this is the only place offer it. They have 2 games to be choose from. We chose patience zero since is our first time. The price is $55per person for total an hour including getting instruction, set up /remove gear and roughly 20 Mins game time. We ended out joining with another 3 girls. We got all sweaty after the game, it definitely is great exercise holing the gun shooting zombies with gear. I was the winner( player6)) from group of 5, proud to get the highest score with shooting over 1000 shots. You should definitely try it if you are in area 15.

Such a great experience for the entire family. We tried the temple of the diamond skull. No zombies to kill, just puzzles and adventure to go through. Like Indiana Jones. We're excited to do another one when in Vegas.

This place was awesome! Outside it says area 15. It seems pretty hip with a bar and some red bean bag chairs and tables. Inside was a different story.

Inside was this cool sort of neon setting. They had bars, ice cream shop, an axe throwing place, and a market of sorts. However to enter the market you had to pay. Very cool ambience and a geek heaven!

For the VR portion of this, this is where it's super awesome. 5 stars and beyond for the whole experience bc of the great customer service. The guys that help set you up were very nice and informative. They made this experience way better and I'll definitely being doing it again.

You get to see halo like characters. The whole body, not just hands and feet. We did the zombie one at intermediate difficulty. It was 22 minutes of non stop fun. I didn't think 60$ was worth it for VR, but after doing this, it was well with my money!

We will be doing this again!!

This was my 1st ever VR experience. My second experience was just a month later so I have one point of comparison.

Virtualis VR is located on the second floor inside Area 15. If you get to Area 15 before it opens, you'll need to wait outside for a while with little shade. We did this one of the days where we went to Meow Wolf Omega Mart. I'd recommend going an hour after opening so you don't have to wait to get through security.

We (party of 3) showed up to Virtualis VR on a weekday afternoon without a reservation and there was plenty of availability.

We chose "The Lost City" as it was advertised to have 10x the zombies as some other games. That seemed insane, but I'm always up for a challenge!

      Pros:
Friendly employees (one at check-in, one for the experience). Check-in was quick.
Good game play length. It's tiring holding the gun for a while.
Since this was my first time playing, I thought just being in a VR environment was cool.
      Initial excitement of seeing zombies.
No glitches during gameplay. At the very beginning, they said "you should be seeing your weapon get closer to you, slowly reach out and grab it". I didn't see anything but just held my hands out and got my weapon, but told them I didn't see anything. Turns out, I was still at the home screen and not in the game. After a quick reset, we were off to playing.
They provide a metal locker to store valuables and other things.

      Cons-
Almost no strategy. It's basically just constant shooting of zombies. After the initial shock of seeing zombies, most of the gameplay is standing in one spot and killing zombies as they spawn from the same spot. Felt like I was working at a zombie killing assembly line.
Very little monster differentiation. Reminded me of the very first levels of Plants vs. Zombies. You have mainly slow zombies and armored or buffer zombies. Every now and then they throw in a speedy zombie. Feel like they could have significantly reduced the number of zombies and made them more interesting/harder to kill.
Every character played the same. You have a generic soldier that has access to four types of weapons.
There really isn't a point in the game to use a sniper rifle. Assault rifle, shot gun, minigun are the other three guns but they essentially serve the same role - killing medium to enormous numbers of close up zombies.
Your character doesn't really do anything aside from shoot. Ducking and jumping doesn't do anything and dodging isn't really meaningful.
Environment is very repetitive. You're basically going into a room, blasting zombies, leaving room, repeat.
Graphics seem pretty dated. Zombies aren't super scary or interesting looking.
No video keepsakes of the experience. They don't have video cameras to take videos of your group during your gameplay. There is one photo that you get of the group outside the game.

All in all, it was a fun experience since I had never done anything like it before. Since then, I had a much more fun, enjoyable experience somewhere else. I think the technology is mostly there (except for the video cameras), but the software needs a major update.

The VR experience was super fun! It was a group of 4 of us! Literally was sweating by the end because we were so active lol!!
We all had a blast and would def come again. Only negative would be I had to get my head strap adjusted a few times which was sort of distracting.

I would give it a 5 star if they provided a package deal with a short film of us engaging in the activity from the outside stand point. This would be HILARIOUS!!

VR photo taken at the end.
