Ratnagiri(Maharashtra)
A short introduction,my name is Darren Dsouza i live in thane,maharashtra and recently i have been fascinated with the idea oftravel.So as this is the lockdown period as i decided to do research on the cities of Maharashtra.One of the cities is Ratnagiri.
Disclaimer:This is just my opinion/perspective,some of u may like it,some of u may don’t…my idea is to only make people aware of other alternatives.as this Blog is written late so i may miss a few points
Ratnagiri is the most underrated City/district as compared to other Cities in terms of travel destination and also the people of ratnagiri are also very Creative(Photography).My suggestions to see in #ratnagiri
- Khorniko dam,lanja city
This dam is made to slow down the speed of the current flowing(other stuff too which i cant remember now…u can google it!).This dam is in lanja city/Village and the Village too is Very peaceful.this is definitely a place to drop by to check in dam creation and the village..
2.Devgad beach
This is probably close to the sindhudurg region than ratnagiri but this is one of the best beaches so far(maybe Shrivardhan has better).This is a very calm and peaceful beach that’s what makes places like ratnagiri beautiful are these less known places that are so beautiful.
3.Aare ware beach
Again of the less explored beachs!!(cant recall anything more)
4.Murud beach
I found this one on google and read a blog post where is easily explains how to reach the place, where to eat and what to explore(Very inexpensive and low hassle way)

Repeating again dont go by my word,explore this places by yourself,everybody has their own taste.the idea is to bring more awareness to Strategic travelling(or Preplanning)because that one extra place that u visit could change a good trip to amazing.
