Description
Scrambled egg slime is a slime mold that is thought to contain a photoreceptor that helps it to convert energy. In Scandinavian folk tales, this fungus is described as the vomit of troll cats, while in Finland it was believed that witches used it to spoil milk. Scrambled egg slime has a perfectly descriptive name since it looks exactly like a particularly sticky yellow mass of scrambled eggs.
