I used to love Betfair what went wrong?
What on earth have Flutter Entertainment done to Betfair? I have been a BF customer since their inauguration in 2000, the sums of money in and out of my account are really quite scary to even think about. I recall a day when you could physically speak to someone when you had an issue, now I doubt even if this Trustpilot review will ever be replied to, they are now just one of the many growing number of facelsss organisations in this world.
Somehow they recently duped/decieved me into some silly promotion that I imagine was through one of their relentless spam promo texts, which resulted in my account being put onto some 8% exchange comission deal, I quite honestly would never in a million years have agreed to this for some silly free £2 promotional bet. The issue is now resolved (after much of my time and effort) and i'm back to my 2% standard rate.
Purely because of the trouble I had in trying to communicate with them, i'll now give them a complete boycot as you will not get any form of customer service from these guys, it's just non existent now.
Just like insurance companies, they are more concerned with getting new customers through the door rather than looking after their core existing ones, it's quite shameful really, I did get an eventual apology from them for my inconveniences after spending half my day getting it rectified.
(Apparently) it was own fault that they'd charged me 8% commission on my returns instead of the usual 2%.
A great company if you like to be treated like a number and not a person, they've simply become a machine, bring back the good old days when the old owners would call and offer hospitality invites to various sporting events!
