Andrew Edward Visocan

Andrew Edward Visocan,  73, of  Ontario, Ore., passed away on Tuesday, December 18,  2012.

He  was born in Belt,  Mont., on 0ct. 6, 1939.  He graduated from Central High School followed by service in the United States Air Force from 1957-1960.  

Thereafter, he graduated from Montana State University where he received Bachelors of Science in Geology.  He was married to Dorothy Francis Visocan.

Andrew retired as the General Works Manager from Eagle Picher Industries Minerals Division after nearly forty years of service that included stops at Galena, Illinois, Reno, Nevada, and Vale, Oregon.   Additionally, he participated in several prospecting efforts for precious metals across the United States.

He  was survived by his wife, Dorothy, of forty-one years; and his children, Victoria S. Robinson, James G. Cassidy, Thomas J. Cassidy, John D. Cassidy, Gregory L. Cassidy, and Andrew B. Visocan; eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec., 22 at 10:30 a.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 1746 NW 4th Avenue, Ontario, Oregon.
