Before I start today I want to share some excitement with you: this is the 100th post at Bleaq! Whoohoo! Thanks to all of you or all your visits so far!
Okay, back to business: art! I had the idea for a while to start with a series of articles about classic artists, you know, the ‘golden oldies’ we should never forget :) The first I want to share with you is French photographer Eugène Atget (1857 – 1927). Atget is most known for documenting the streets of Paris at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 2oth century. Atgets photos show a city not yet filled with cars and tourists, yet shows you some well-known Paris hotspots in a whole different light. Curious to see how Paris looked over a hundred years ago?
