Growing up enchanted by beautiful Krsna art and culture inspired me to travel to India where I studied traditional bhakti art and kirtan from my guru, Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja, and my mentor, Srimati Syamarani didi (Jadurani dasi).

Thakurani Arts is a small way for me to honor my teachers and share their blessings with the world. I hope that these small visual offerings can serve as vehicles for viewers to explore the mood and mystery of bhakti-yoga and to experience greater beauty and joy in life.

Inspiration

Thakurani Arts draws inspiration from the living culture of bhakti-yoga and bhakti art in the Gaudiya Vaisnava tradition – specifically from the teachings and life example of Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and of Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja. Srimati Syamarani Didi, a prominent artist disciple of both spiritual preceptors, continues to mentor us to the present day.
