Counting of votes for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly election 2018  is underway and the trends are expected to pour in. After the first hour and a half, Bharatiya Janata Party’s Rajyavardhan Singh is leading the proceedings in the Narsinghardh constituency with 33323 votes followed by Congress Party’s Girish Bhandari at second with 3266 votes.
Chachoura: In 2013, BJP’s Mamta Meena had garnered 82779 votes. She had defeated Congress’ Shivnarayan Meena who had bagged 47878 votes only. For 2018 polls, BJP has retained Mamta Meena and Congress has fielded Laxman Singh.A single phase election for the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly took place on November 28, 2018 amidst heavy security. The major national parties which contested the elections were Indian National Congress (INC) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Here are the details of Chachoura, Raghogarh, Narsinghgarh, Biaora, Rajgarh, Khilchipur, Sarangpur, Susner Vidhan Sabha seats.

Raghogarh: Raghogarh is pitched as a crucial Vidhan Sabha seat for the Congress party. In 2013, Congress’ Jaivardhan Singh had defeated BJP’s Radhe Shyam Dhakad by a margin of over 55,000 votes. For 2018 polls, the BJP has fielded Bhupendra Raghuvanshi while, Jaivardhan Singh will fight it out for the Congress.

Narsinghgarh: In 2013, Congress’ Girish Bhandari had defeated BJP’s Mohan Sharma-Premnarayan. Bhandari had bagged 85847 votes while Sharma had bagged 62829 votes. For 2018 polls, BJP Has fielded Rajyavardhan Singh while Congress has retained Bhandari.

Biaora: BJP’s Narayan Singh Panwar had won the seat by garnering 75766 votes in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. He had defeated Congress’ Ram Chandra Dangi. For 2018 polls, BJP has fielded Panwar while Congress has fielded Govardhan Dangi.

Rajgarh: In 2013, BJP’s Amar Singh Yadav had won the seat by defeating Congress’ Shivsingh Bamlabe. For 2018 polls, BJP has retained Amar Singh Yadav and Congress has fielded Bapu Singh Tanwar.

Khilchipur: In 2013, BJP’s Kunwar Hajarilal Dangi had won the seat by defeating Congress’ Priyavrat Singh. For 2018 polls, BJP has retained Dangi and Congress has fielded Priyavrat Singh.

Sarangpur: In 2013, BJP’s Kunwarji Kothar had defeated Congress’ Krishan Mohan Malviya and had registered thumping victory from Sarangpur Vidhan Sabha seat. For 2018 polls, BJP has retained Kothar and Congress has fielded Kala Mahesh Malviya.

Susner: BJP’s Murlidhar Patidar had won the seat by garnering 79018 votes in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. He had defeated Congress’ Ambavtiya Vallabh Bhai. For 2018 polls, BJP has retained Patidar Panwar while Congress has fielded Mahendra Singh Parihar.
