Wanda Cook-Robinson, Ph.D, superintendent of Oakland Schools, was named as one of Michigan’s 100 Most Influential Women by Crain’s Detroit Business. Every five years, Crain’s honors 100 of Michigan’s most influential women leaders who have made a significant economic, cultural, and social impact. Crain’s will host a networking event to recognize the honorees, Nov. 18, according to a press release.
Cook-Robinson has served as superintendent of Oakland County Schools since 2015, supporting its 28 public school districts, public school academies and non-public schools. She previously served as Oakland Schools Chief of Staff, and before that, she served as superintendent of Southfield Public Schools.
