Satna is one of the 230 Legislative Assembly constituencies of Madhya Pradesh state in India. Dabbu Siddharth Sukhlal Kushwaha of the Indian National Congress won the elections over Shankarlal Tiwari of the Bhartiya Janta Party with a margin of 12558 votes in the previous election in 2018.
Ganesh Singh from the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and Rajaram Tripathi from the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) both contested the elections in 2019; however, Kalpana Verma from INC defeated Pratima Bagari of the Bharatiya Janta Party with a significant number of votes, i.e., 231473 . The total number of Satna assembly electors as of the 2018 Assembly Election was 230861.
Madhya Pradesh assembly elections will be held on November 17, 2023. The results of the assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Mizoram, and Telangana will be announced on December 3, 2023.
