I bought this model for a 'Porsche Project' I am working on.
I originally bought the first release of this model in the late 80s and was impressed with it. Unfortunately, time took it's toll and the model succumbed to many house moves and was laid to rest (I still have the wheels and tyres!)
Having inspected the contents of the box, I can see that the mouldings are still crisp and free from flash. The mouldings are typical Tamiya quality. I haven't tried to fit parts yet, but I suspect that it will all fit well, as did the original.
I have chosen to paint it a pearl white, just like the one that I saw at the Motor Show (So long ago, it was till at Earl's Court, I think).
In all, I am looking forward to building this kit.
