Overall this is a very nice, relatively accurate curbside model of an iconic car. This particular kit comes with the narrow rear wheels/tires found on the 1968 winning car. If you want to do the 69 version I recommend an aftermarket resin set - Historic Racing Miniatures makes a nice set. If youre a stickler for detail you might want to scratch build the door ledge/shelves on the insides of the doors that surround the windows, otherwise it looks the part of a Mk I GT40. Its a simple, easy to build kit. The decals are nice but the orange color on my set dont look quite right, they learn more toward an orange-brown color. Ill be using an aftermarket set from Indycals, theyre awesome! The interior is quite nice even though little of it can be seen once the body is on the car. Clear parts are great, no fit or other problems with any of them. It doesnt come with any photo-etch like the Fujimi Mk IIs do. Would have been nice to have some metal seatbelt buckles/parts come with it. It doesnt have an engine, just the rear portion on the transaxle can be seen when the body is on it. The body is two pieces but mine will be glued together because theres no point in keeping it separate if theres no complete engine to see with the bonnet off or open, and the rear sectionisnt hinged. Overall, Im very pleased with it and know it can be built into a very nice replica.
