Braun does not respond (appropriately) to my technical complaint of 29/12/2023 (newly delivered radio controlled alarm clock does not work, display remains dark).
They asked me to send a video showing the problem, which I did on 04 January. Then, 1 week after I sent the video, I asked what they thought. I have not received a reply to date (17 January).

(The original suggestion from Braun was to use better quality batteries. This is ridiculous as I used brand new Varta batteries (best before date Dec 2030) to the specification given and showed this in the video I submitted. I have also tried 3 other pairs of new batteries, all from quality brands. And, of course, I followed the procedure given by Braun and pressed the reset button after the batteries were inserted.)

Kello 5 tähteä, käyttöohjeen puute 0 = nolla tähteä. Ainoa todella ISO MIINUS on siis että kellojen (ostin kaksi) mukana tuli vain muovikortteja jossa on koodi (ean) jonka pitäisi ilmeisesti näyttää kännykälle jos osaa jotta saisi käyttöohjeen. Minkäänlaista kirjallista käyttöohjetta ei ole mukana pakkauksessa. Pitääkö 76 v eläkeläinen tosiaan omistaa kännykän ja printterin että saisi käyttöohjeen itselleen uusille kelloilleen? Meni melkein 2 h ennenkuin olin selvittänyt käyttöohjelogiikan ilman mitään käyttöohjetta. Ja sitten vielä pitää opettaa sen vaimolleen.

The photos of this clock are very deceving - the numbers are INCREDIBLY dim and difficult to read, and the so-called backlight option barely makes a difference. The only time it's readable is when you touch the snooze/light button. If it could have that level of backlighting all the time it would be fine, although I suspect that would run through batteries. All in all it's way overpriced and fails to deliver it's most basic feature - showing the time.
