Where is it located?
Franche Comté is an administrative region of eastern France. It is composed of four departments: Doubs, Jura, Haute-Saône and Territoire de Belfort. It has a population of more 1 million and a half. The principal cities are the capital Besançon, Belfort and Montbéliard. Besançon is the birthplace of the french writer Victor Hugo.
