Dhanaura is a town and Nagar Palika Parisahd in Dhanaura Block Dhanaura Tehsil in Amroha ( Earlier Jyotiba Phule Nagar) District of Uttar Pradesh. It is also the Taluka headquarter of Dhanaura Tehsil. It is to the west of Amroha on the state highway linking Bijnor and Gajraula.
Vasudev Mandir and Tulsi Park, Bayen ka kuan, Nasiruddin Sahib ki Majaar and Dargah Bhure Shah are the famous places to visit in the district.
Dhanaura is around 5 km from Bachhraon and 13 km from Gajraula. Gajraula Junction Railway Station and Indira Gandhi International Airport are the nearest major access points.

  • Hello everyone, I visited Dhanaura in 2002, if I am not mistaken. I met a nice gentleman by the name of Dayal Sahib, I was told he was a Christian man (personally to me it is not important if one is Christian, or Jew or Muslim or Hindu, or anything else). He was really nice gentleman. If I remember correctly he owned a school. I would like to send him computers for his school kids. If anyone knows him I would appreciate some contact information.   • Hi, dhanoura is very beautyfull place.i love my city.my house is near bacha baba mandir.in winter i likes smogs. Weather fails j&k and in summer it is very hot in rainy season it is fabulas. My village is palanpur it is 5km away from dhanoura. Many temples is the heart of this city. Presently i m in force c.i.s.f i spent all leave in my city.i love my city very much.

  • Does anyone know that there was a temple called garhi mandir and 8 am talking of around 45 yrs back that there was pandit ji Ram sharan Sharma Viyogi who used to run school in that temple which I attended. He was old , I am not sure if anyone from his family is still there. There was agovt school primary near the gurdwara. Is it still there. Of anyone has more photos of dhanora, pl post them. I miss this town as I lived there 45 yrs ago and still remember it fondly. Would like to visit this place sometime ..
