Dennis RodmanCourtey of Ultra 88Dennis Rodman, who appeared at the Mohegan Sun last week, is heading to Louisville to DJ.

What's retired five-time NBA championship player Dennis Rodman to do when film cameos, reality show appearances and a stint in wrestling no longer juice the palate? Take over the turntables and descend upon one of the most historic and prestigious sporting events -- the Kentucky Derby.

On Friday, basketball's bad boy will make his second DJ debut at Derby Pretty, one of the many pre-Derby celebrations. The spectacle surrounding the first leg of the Triple Crown has become just as renowned as the esteemed race itself, and if anyone knows how to party, it's Rodman.

The bash in Louisville will be Rodman's second appearance as a DJ, signaling the start of his newest post-basketball career attempt. Rodman made his debut on April 23 in Connecticut at the Mohegan Sun Casino's Ultra 88 Nightclub alongside DJ Vic Latino, much to the satisfaction of the club's staff.

"Dennis's DJ debut was as high-energy and entertaining as we thought it was going to be," said Jason Giuca, general manager of Ultra 88 nightclub. "He and Vic Latino rocked the crowd all night with a great mix of house, mash-ups, rock and hip-hop."

Rodman also enjoyed himself, tweeting, "Had great time DJing at Ultra 88 in Mohegan Sun Casino. In limo headed to JFK."

For those wanting to see Rodman's skills at Derby Pretty at the Frazier International History Museum in Louisville, it won't be cheap -- table reservations range from $750- $2,000.
