The perfect place to unwind

Hope Cove

The picturesque village is split into two distinct halves - Inner Hope and Outer Hope.  Our property is on the short footpath that links them both.

Inner Hope has a lovely collection of cob and stone cottages, with thatch everywhere that takes you back to years gone by and a delightful tiny square.

Outer Hope is where there is more activity - but not much!  2 pubs with restaurants which also offer snacks, a PostOffice/ convenience store and a lovely Art Gallery.

The village nestles in the shelter of the Bolt Tail, in the curve of Bigbury Bay.  It has 2 sandy beaches, one which has a small harbour and is still used by the local fisherman  collecting crabs and lobsters. The other beach has a wilder feel to it as there are more rocks and boulders, but still a large sandy area for sunbathing and swimming.

Dinghy / launching slip 2 minutes’ walk.  Facilities for larger boats at Salcombe.
