Those shops look to be in a precarious position. I take it this is a spring tide?

Yes, yesterday and today are at the top of the tide graph at about 7.2 metres. The level of water has been added to by south-southwesterly winds, gusting up to 30mph, pushing the tide up the estuary. The big breakwater to the west of the harbour entrance helps to reduce the pressure. I haven't heard of any flooding, apart from on the roads around the RNLI station and marina. I guess that if the winds were stronger the risks to these businesses and others behind them would be greater.
