Alan Rogers Review of Camping le Beau Village de Paris
This is a pleasant, typically French campsite just 25 km. south of Paris and conveniently located at the centre of a triangle formed by the A6 motorway, the N20/A10 to Orleans and the N104 east/west link road, La Francilienne. Half of its 124 pitches are occupied on a seasonal basis by Parisians and 20 mobile homes to rent; the remainder are touring pitches, all hedged and with 10A electricity. Trees provide some shade. Reception, in a traditionally-styled building, also has a pleasant little bar, a games room and an attractive terrace with wooden tables, benches, thatched canopies and a stone-built barbecue.
The site is on the bank of the Orge river with fishing possible nearby, but direct access is available only to occupants of the seasonal pitches, unless one of these is vacant (as when we visited). There is a fenced adventure-type play area. The RER station is just 700 m. away and trains take you to the centre of Paris in 20 minutes.
Facilities at Camping le Beau Village de Paris
Three toilet blocks, heated when necessary, have controllable showers and some washbasins in cabins. The main block has a baby changing room and laundry facilities. A second (older) block has adequate accessible facilities, the third is in a prefabricated unit with some additional washbasins outside in a very tired row of cubicles. Small bar (open high season and on demand). Games room. Pool table. Adventure play area. Free loan of canoes. Boules. Free WiFi on part of site.
Directions to Camping le Beau Village de Paris
From N104 join N20 north and exit at La Ville-du-Bois and Carrefore on D35 towards Villiers-sur-Orge. In village, turn right at traffic lights immediately before river on Voie des Prés along river bank to site on left. Tight turn into entrance.
