Nobres

Just like Bonito, in Mato Grosso do Sul, Nobres offers similar tours in the state of Mato Grosso, with nature attractions well preserved. Transparent rivers, springs, waterfalls, caves, spas, birds, and other animals are its main attractions.

Nobres is an ecotourism destination that is still little known, but with great tourist potential. Tourism started around 2014 and the main attractions are in the Vila Bom Jardim district, 64 km from the city center.

The attractions of Bom Jardim, Nobres, are maintained with great care in relation to environmental preservation. The number of visitors is controlled with the prices of the tours set by the city hall. It works with a voucher system, purchased, and scheduled through agencies; a system like Bonito-MS.

Therefore, we recommend that you define your itinerary and schedule the tours in advance so as not to run the risk of not visiting the most popular attractions, especially on weekends, holidays and vacation periods.

Generally, tourists traveling with more time in the region also take the opportunity to visit Chapada dos Guimarães and spend a day in Cuiabá, capital of the state.

Any time is feasible to visit Nobres, however, there are some particularities that can change the travel experience. However, the central region of Brazil is marked by two very distinct seasons: the dry season and the rainy season.

The dry season in Nobres lasts from April to September, with only 25 mm of rain/month on average. The months of June, July and August are the driest, when it rarely rains in the region.

In general, this is the best time to enjoy the tours. Without rain, the waters are at the height of their transparency.

Between October and March, it rains much more, on average 200mm per month, especially between December and March. The advantage of this time is that the waterfalls are fuller.
