Il lago di Valle di Cadore si trova a quota mt. 706 s.l.m. sotto l’abitato della frazione Venas di Valle di Cadore.

Non è visibile dalla ex SS 51 “d’Alemagna” ed è questo il motivo per cui è poco conosciuto dai turisti di passaggio.

E’invece visibile dalla meno frequentata strada ex SS 347 del passo Cibiana.
