| Description |
English: Bridge No 78 at Audlem, Cheshire. The narrowboat under Audlem Bridge has just come out of Lock No 12 (the whole flight is fifteen locks) and is approaching Audlem Wharf, where visitor mooring is available, with good access to the village shops and pubs.
The Shropshire Union Canal was opened in 1835 - engineered by Thomas Telford. |
