SPRING SNOW IN CROWN KING

Was Sunday, March 18th, the last snow of the season for Crown King? We certainly hope not! Our town received over 10″ of snow on Sunday and Monday. By the weekend every trace of the snow was gone, even the mud! Shady slopes held the last signs of this springtime snowfall until the end of March. Nothing’s left but the memories now. Crown King can be lots of fun in the snow. The Crown King Saloon stays toasty warm with the help of their antique wood stoves. While the bartenders are serving up cold beers, you can find a hot lunch at the G & S Cafe in the rear of the Saloon. New owners, Gerry & Sandy, are serving up some tasty food. Of course, on the weekends you can also find a delicious meal at the Mill Restaurant too. If you are in a hurry, then try one of the handmade deli sandwiches at the General Store. Jennifer, Margaret, Terri, Ben and Carol will gladly offer you a sample of our cream & butter fudge!

WE APPRECIATE YOU!! MARCH 31ST WAS ‘OFF-ROAD APPRECIATION DAY’ IN CROWN KING ARIZONA

Visitors to our town were treated like royalty on Saturday March 31st. We know that there are lots of great destinations in Arizona and we truly appreciate our off-road friends who frequent our town. To say ‘thank you’, the Crown King General Store rewarded their customers with a Crown King sticker of their choice all day long. The G & S Cafe rewarded their first 50 customers with a free tee shirt. There were lots of cheer shared all around the town. Whether you travel to Crown King up the back way from Lake Pleasant, from I-17 through Cleator, Senator Highway from Prescott or the many other routes to our town, we are sure glad you come visit us! As always, please be safe and sensible out on the trail. We look forward to sharing another Off Road Appreciation Day with you next year. You can count on the General Store to be there with Gas, Fudge, Crown King wear and lots more. Thank you again from Jennifer, Margaret, Terri, Ben and Carol.
