DepEd identifies 11 Negros Occidental, Bacolod schools for F2F classes

The Department of Education has identified 117 public schools nationwide, including 10 in Negros Occidental and one in Bacolod City, for pilot face-to-face classes this December, the DepEd announced Thursday, December 2.

The identified schools have passed safety assessments conducted by the DepEd and Department of Health.

The 11 pilot schools identified in Negros Occidental and Bacolod City are expected to start their pilot face-to-face classes on Monday, December 6, Marsette Sabbaluca, Negros Occidental Schools Superintendent, said.

The pilot face-to-face classes will not involve students of entire schools, only those from select classes, she said.

The DepEd on its Facebook page identified the following schools in Bacolod and Negros Occidental for face-to-face classes:

*Alangilan National High School in Bacolod City;

*Hiyang Hiyang Elementary School in Cadiz City;

*Mabini National High School in Escalante City;

*Raymundo T. Tongson National High School in Himamaylan City;

*Valladolid National High School in Valladolid:

*Aguntilang Elementary School in Isabela;

*Colonia Divina Integrated School in Sagay City;

*Don Carlos Ledesma National High School in San Carlos City;

*Patag Diotay Elementary School in Silay City;

*Mauboy Elementary School in – Sipalay City; and

*Victorias National High School in Victorias City.

The results of the face-to-face classes will determine their expansion to other schools, the DepEd said.*
