Gateway Park and Splash Pad, located in El Mirage, Arizona, is a hidden gem in the Phoenix West Valley!

A couple unique things about Gateway park and splash pad is that it is located across the street from El Mirage police department and has it has it’s very own indoor concession store.

Gateway park’s concession store has Hawaiian shaved ice, hot dogs, pretzels, nachos and other yummy concession items and beverages.

There are three play areas that are great for little climbers. There are interactive games and a few swings.

It’s overall a really great playground and park!

One side of the playground is well shaded while the other is not. There isn’t much shaded seating so I recommend bringing a blanket or something to sit on under the many large bushy trees! Thank heavens for those big beautiful trees in the warmer months!

Splash Pad Session is: May - October

The features of the splash pad circulate and the water tower is a big hit with the littles too! The water tower fills with water and periodically lets down a big waterfall!

Gateway park has a modest skatepark, nice size dog park, baseball fields, basketball courts and a half mile walking path that goes around the baseball fields.

This park and splash pad is a great place to bring bikes or scooters whethere to use at the skatepark or around the general park.
