Arriving to the Conference Venue

The European Conference on Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (ECSCW) 2021 is being held at the Department of Informatics of the University of Zurich from the 7th to the 11th June 2021. The Department of Informatics on Binzmühlestrasse 14 in Zurich is accessible from Zurich main station by train and tram, the airport by train and tram, and by car. By Public Transport from Zurich Main Station

Public Transport Tickets

The Zurich Public Transport consists of a dense network of trams, buses and local trains that are reliable and accurate. Public Transportation is a great choice to avoid any traffic and delays and to get fast anywhere in Zurich. There are ZVV and SBB ticket vending machines on all public transport stations. Tickets are bought for Zones with Zone 110 being accurate for the conference venue and the Zurich city centre. Within the valid Zone and time period all transport vehicles available can be used multiple times, which include buses, trams, trains, ships or cablecars. Zone maps for further destinations are available on every stop. The ZVV ticket app or the SBB mobile app can be used for buying tickets via Phone and finding connections quick. You can also use the online ZVV ticket shop. Please find three convenient ticket options described below. 

Single tickets

  • Single tickets for muliple zones can be bought for a time period of 30 minutes up to 2 hours. The most convenient choices are:
  • →  the single ticket valid for 1 hour and 1-2 zones for 4.40 CHF, which is enough to get from Zurich main station (Zurich HB) to the coneference venue. 
  • → the single ticket valid for 1 hour and 3 zones for 6.80 CHF, which is enough to get from Zurich airport to the conference venue.

24h - tickets

  • 24h – tickets are available for muliple zones and valid for 24 hours starting from the time when bought. The most convenient choices are:
  • →  the 24h – ticket valid for the day and 1-2 zones for 8.80 CHF, to get from Zurich main station (Zurich HB) to the coneference venue. 
  • → the 24h – ticket valid for the day and 3 zones for 13.60 CHF, to get from Zurich airport to the conference venue.
