A massive fire broke out in a government-run school in Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam district on Wednesday. The incident occurred in the morning at the Tekkali Government High School.
After the incident was reported, firefighters launched an operation and doused the flames. No casualties were reported in the incident and police have initiated an investigation to ascertain the cause of the fire.

In another incident, a fire damaged a four-wheeler and a two-wheeler on the premises of a residential building in Maharashtra’s Thane on Wednesday. The incident took place around 4:40 am on the ground floor of the Shrirang Society in Thane city.
No casualty or injury was reported in the fire incident and local firefighters extinguished the fire by around 5.15 am, said Yasin Tadvi, chief of the Disaster Management Cell of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).
