A Seaside Park with a Sandy Beach and Unique Sculptures

Obama Park is located along Obama Bay, with a tiled plaza by a sandy beach. The park features a number of sculptures to enjoy, depicting a giant swan, a lion, and even two mermaids at the nearby Mermaid Terrace. The park’s cherry blossoms bloom in late March and early April, and in summer, Mermaid Beach is a popular destination for fun in the water.

A nearby hill has a climbing trail up to an observation platform. The platform offers a panoramic view of the town of Obama, as well as the mountains across Obama Bay.
