LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Clouds will increase in advance of our next storm system that moves in Monday night.

Temperatures on Monday afternoon will climb into the 40s.

Rain becomes likely Monday night, and the wind also begins to howl after midnight.

A wind advisory is in effect on Tuesday, with wind gusts over 40 mph likely.

Rain is likely on Tuesday, especially during the morning and early afternoon.

Later in the day, the rain becomes more scattered.

Rainfall totals between 1-2 inches.

Colder air wraps in Tuesday night, changing rain to snow showers. Snow showers linger into at least Wednesday morning. Minor snow accumulation is possible, mainly on elevated surfaces.

Another rain and wind maker comes our way Friday. Arctic air moves in next weekend, with some snow showers possible.
