Dennis DJ prepares a night to remember the history of funk with songs from 1996 to 2012

During the pandemic, Dennis DJ made noise with lives remembering nostalgic songs. In addition, the DJ promoted a show in São Paulo with the same theme last year, at Arena Estaiada, and it was a sales success. Now, the musician is preparing an edition of "Dennis das Antigas" in Rio de Janeiro, which promises remarkable moments with the presence of several special guests.
The DJ prepares a journey through the history of funk, recalling hits from Dennis' career, one of the greatest funk producers, composers and DJs today. In this edition, Espaço Hall will host hits from 1996 to 2012, with productions such as "Vai Lacraia", "Cerol na Mão" and "Glamurosa", which were eternalized in the memory of the Brazilian people.
However, Dennis will not be alone on this journey. The DJ features the participation of artists who will make the atmosphere even more nostalgic, such as Furacão 2000, Pixote, Andinho, Colibri, Cidinho, Serginho, Menor da Chapa, Mascote e Neném, Phaybo DJ and other names not yet revealed. In addition to the special guests, the atmosphere will be enlivened by pyrotechnics, smoke and lights.
“I had wanted to do this party for a long time, but it depended on the schedule, logistics and now it worked! The event is turning out to be really beautiful and it's something very special for me, because it's a way of saying thank you for everything that funk has done for me. We are going to have a big celebration on this day, lots of news, special guest appearances, including, there are many more guest appearances than we are disclosing", commented the DJ.
"This year, 2023, marks 20 years since I left Hurricane 2000 to follow my solo path. But, I have a huge gratitude for the label that was where I grew up, you know? I went there when I was 16, and everything I improved in my profession as a producer, as a DJ, the experience of being at the ball was all built there", he acknowledged.
"So I thought: man, I haven't played in Hurricane in 20 years. We're going to bring an artist from Hurricane as a special guest at this great party!' It's going to be a historic night, because we're going to play everything, from the 90s, 2000s, 2005, 2007, 2010, 2012, in short, we're going to tell this incredible story” , promises Dennis. The event takes place on November 1st, at Espaço Hall, Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro.

The proposal included a surprise and a bouquet of flowers: "She decided to invite me to spend her birthday with her. I came. Romantic that I am, I invited her to dinner at the hotel restaurant. Upstairs, I ordered this wonderful thing [in dating]. And she wanted it! It's just joy", he told gshow, at the time.

Rapper Orochi is voluntarily working on the tragedy in Rio Grande do Sul. The singer arrived in the state with trucks of supplies last Friday (10), as shown in his Instagram stories. He also said that he has been sleeping in a tent, and sent his two watercraft to help with the rescues.
"The easiest way is to find an excuse. In the most difficult times, we see who is who. Get the cool view of who you put us in a position of power. When things get crazy, it's always us for us", he wrote.
OROCHI "ZERA" PHARMACY FOR DONATIONSBefore going to the hospital Rio Grande do Sul, Orochi "zeroed out" a pharmacy in Rio de Janeiro by purchasing all the products and sending them to flood victims. The rapper also sent a truck of mineral water, another vehicle with 500 mattresses, tons of food and another truck with 15 tons of pet food.
