HP Notebook x2 - 10-p011nr
Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

Hello, I have a HP Note x2 - 10-p011nr that is BIOS password locked. I have already tried to enter the password 3 times to get the system halt code and use the code on a BIOS master password generator site (https://bios-pw.org/). Which gives me two different codes that don't work. I have repeated this process several times with no succsess. I have also took it apart and tried unhooking the main battery and CMOS battery for about an hour and still no luck. I will attach a photo of the current halt code which is C12BE3E120190209_102316.jpg. Is there some other option I haven't tried or is there something going on with the motherboard?

Welcome to the HP Support Community @joshua1990

For that model and (HEX) code you will need to contact HP in your region and they should be able to generate your Master code from your “SYSTEM DISABLED CODE”

Contact Support >> http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

When talking to the HP rep ask them to escalate your service request.

I have also heard that some have had success removing the RTC/BIOS battery???
