El cuatro es un instrumento de cuatro cuerdas de nylon muy utilizado en las parrandas venezolanas a continuación con gusto les muestro el paso a paso

A cordial greeting to all the members of this community, my project today is a beautiful musical instrument "The Cuatro" was made with recycled material in this case cardboard. MATERIALES//MATERIALS

• Dos envases redondos de diferentes tamaños
• Silicón liquido
• Cartón
• Acuarela
• Pincel
• Pabilo
• Tijera
• Lápiz

• Two round containers of different sizes
• Liquid silicone
• Cardboard
• Watercolor
• Brush
• Wick
• Scissors
• Pencil

PASO1/ STEP 1

Dibujamos el cuerpo del cuatro en una hoja reciclada para ello tomamos el envase de mayor tamaño y el de menor tamaño y hacemos dos círculoscomo se ve el la foto

We draw the body of the four on a recycled sheet of paper by taking the largest and smallest containers and making two circles as shown in the photo.

PASO2/ STEP 2

Recortamos el modelo y lo traspasamos al cartón

We cut out the model and transfer it to cardboard.

PASO 3/ STEP 3

Después de dibujar, se recorta

After drawing, it is cut out

PASO 4/ STEP 4

Pintamos el cuatro de blanco cuando este bien seco se pinta la parte de abajo con los colores de la Bandera de Venezuela amarillo, azul y rojo

We paint the four of white when it is dry paint the bottom with the colors of the Flag of Venezuela yellow, blue and red.

PASO 5/ STEP 5

Pintamos la parte de arriba del cuatro de color marrón

We paint the top of the four of brown color

PASO 6/ STEP 6

Se cortan dos tiras de cartón una larga otra pequeña, se pintan de marrón. Luego se pega la pequeña en la parte de arriba y la grande en la parte de abajo, como se ve en la foto

Cut two strips of cardboard, one long and one small, and paint them brown. Then glue the small one on the top and the big one on the bottom, as shown in the picture.

PASO 7/ STEP 7

Con un material filoso se abren los huecos por donde va a pasar el pabilo (que es la simulación del nylon). Primero se abren los huecos de los lados

With a sharp material, open the holes through which the wick (which is the simulation of nylon) will pass. First the holes on the sides are opened.

PASO 8/ STEP 8

Luego se comienza a colocar el pabilo del centro y por ultimo se colocan las ocho estrellas en el color azul que representan las provincias: Caracas, Cumaná, Barcelona, Barinas, Guayana, Margarita, Mérida y Trujillo.

Then the wick is placed in the center and finally the eight blue stars are placed to represent the provinces: Caracas, Cumaná, Barcelona, Barinas, Guayana, Margarita, Mérida and Trujillo.
